    Social networking site for cricket fans

    Kuala Lumpur, Sept. 20 (PTI): A Hyderabad-based firm today launched a social networking site aimed at connecting millions of cricket fans around the world.

    The venture, named 'Sixer,' was the first website of its kind, Kishore Kumar, vice-president of the firm said.

    It is backed by LINUS Capital, a San Francisco-based investment group.

    Sunny Burra, Managing Director of LINUS Capital who was here to launch the site, said he was "excited to invest in the world's first social networking site for cricket fans, where all the content on the site is generated by cricket fans."

    Sixer (www.sixer.tv) enables a fan to share his cricket life, his team's accomplishments and submit news, pictures, videos, match analysis to be viewed by other fans around the world.
