India 233 all out, SA enforce follow-on

	Feb 8th,2010 Dale Steyn took a career-best 7/51 to bundle out India for 233 as South African captain Graeme Smith of the first Test at the VCA stadium in Nagpur on Monday. The Proteas had declared their first innings at 558/6. Scorecard \| In pics India lost six wickets after tea as Steyn ran through the lower order. India thus failed to avoid the follow-on, falling 126 runs short of the mark. The hosts ended the first innings 325 runs behind the visitors. The Indian debacle started in the first over tea as Paul Harris had Indian captain MS Dhoni caught by Jacques Kallis at first slip with a delivery that pitched outside leg-stump and hit Dhoni's glove as he tried his best to avoid the delivery. After that, it was Steyn's show all the way as in the next over he had debutant Subramaniam Badrinath caught by Ashwell Prince at mid-wicket and three balls later, clean bowled Wriddhiman Saha. Steyn then dismissed Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra and Harbhajan Singh in his next three overs as India were bundled out for 233. Before tea, Viender Sehwag slammed his 18th century before throwing his wicket away as India reached 221/4 in reply to South Africa's mammoth first innings total of 558/6.
